Widgeon Creek – the traditional start to the Beavers paddling year. After paddling across the Pitt River (at the outlet of Pitt Lake) we meander up Widgeon Creek (Flat water & gently flowing water) enjoying the beautiful marsh scenery and wildlife.
Put in at Deep Cove. Paddle to the Twin Islands or further. Explore the marine wonders in this glacial fjord.
North Vancouver's Seymour River is a great place to kick off season with some moving water practice, water levels permitting. Come spend the day pacticing with your friends, getting ready for another season's worth of adventure!
