Adams River – August 24-27

Directions

Drive East from Kamloops on Highway 1 till Adsmd River turnoff. Drive till bridge which is takeout and has large parking lot.

Camping

About 2 kilometers down from Adams Bridge raft takeout on left. See photos.
J+G Lewis 2475 whatever road. Telephone at campground. Prudent to call them reserve campsite. They have 2 hookups for RV mostly tenting on their lawn $20 a night. Water outhouse etc.

Meeting

Every day starting Friday 10 am at takeout parking lot.

Difficulty

Safe 2 with 2+!canyon. River is warm. no drysuit necessary. River safe for novices who like me will probably swim canyon into large edfy. It’s exciting but safe.

Beaver Canoe trip but Kayaks are fine. If too many well break into group
