Rivers Week update – June 22, 2022

Two days out!

The good news is a bunch of us will be there. The more “hmmm” news is that with the hot weather, the river levels that were trending down are trending up again. And it is looking like high 20’s, low 30’s for next week.

I’ll be there, planning to lead an easy trip starting at Princeton on Saturday June 25, river level permitting, leaving the Outpost camp at 10 am sharp. If you’re driving up that morning, you could go straight to 2 Rivers Park in Princeton at 10:30 – but watch this site and the Beaver Canoe Club Facebook page for any changes. If the river is too high, we’ll paddle a nearby lake.

Each day, trips will be decided as a group based on conditions and the trips leaders volunteer to run. There will be a whiteboard at camp with the planned trips, identifying the leader you need to speak to about joining in.

Maps to the camping spots and a link to more detailed info are in the previous Rivers Week post.
