DESCRIPTION:Paddle the Pitt River from Gillnetter Pub to Deboville Slough. Meet at Deboville Slough at 11:30 where we will arrange a shuttle to the put-in at the Gillnetter. The Pitt River is a tidal river and we will be paddling with the incoming tide along the Westside. The trip is for intermediate and above lake paddlers. Not recommended for new/novice paddlers. Lake canoes (fibreglass canoes) are fine\, river canoes are not required. We will be paddling roughly 9 km. The launch site is down an old\, narrow dock.
