SUMMARY:Hatzic Slough: Lake Water
DESCRIPTION:This trip travels 5 km north up Hatzic Slough then back down to the starting point on Sylvester Road\, where it takes another slough east for just under 3 kms and back for a total of approx 14km. This is a quiet valley waterway that normally shows a good variety of birds and the occasional bear! It’s a pleasant\, protected channel with a number of bridges we travel under. \n \nFor those who would like to extend their paddle Hatzic Lake is available to you and can add as much as a couple hours to your day.
