David Thompson Paddlesport Classic – Lake Revelstoke BC
Date: August 18 – 20, 2017
Entry deadline extended to July 29, 2017
The entry deadline for the first ever David Thompson Paddlesport Classic, the longest organized paddlesport event in British Columbia has been extended to July 29, 2017.
You can still join us on this 125 kilometer (78-mile) flat water journey following the route of David Thompson on the Columbia River now known as Lake Revelstoke.
There is a non-competitive class for those “in-it-to-finish” folks and racing classes for competitive enthusiasts…
or if you just want to test the waters (so to speak) enrol to paddle only one day (Sunday, August 20)
If you need to rent a canoe or kayak let us know. We have a number available as long as the supply lasts.
Come, experience the adventure amid some of the most breathtaking scenery in Canada.
The David Thompson Paddlesport Classic welcomes canoes, kayaks, rowboats and stand-up paddleboards in many age, family and gender classes. There is a group for everyone! Pit crews to support paddlers are welcome. An accommodation package is also available at Mica Creek.
All participants receive snacks, paddler shuttles, a post-race meal and eligible awards and mileage pins.
